 MESA Family Support Group

The stress and uncertainty of mental and emotional illnesses affect all members of the family, but family members have few places to turn for support.

MESA (Mutual Education Support and Advocacy) is an eight-week  series of meetings designed to provide education on mental illnesses and reduce the stress that parents, siblings, spouses, and other family members and friends often experience as they support the person  who has a mental illness.

Giving and getting support from others with similar experiences is proven to be effective in learning to cope.  If you are a family member, friend, or other supporter of a person who has been diagnosed with a mental illness, you are not alone.  Give MESA a try.  It can help!

There is no fee to attend, however,

 pre-registration is required.

Call 847-9055 to find out about the next scheduled class and to register.
